Odyssey of the Mind (OM™) is an international program that teaches students how to develop and use their natural creativity to become problem-solvers. 

OM provides an all-round and fun extracurricular activity where students apply what they learn and combine it with their interests and passions to solve our unique open-ended problems. Such problems include the construction of small operable vehicles and devices, the design of costumes and props as well as the presentation of it all in little performances. OM also emphasizes teamwork and tolerance, budgeting, time management, public speaking, international understanding and so much more.

The program is offered in over 30 countries around the globe with the headquarters located in New Jersey/USA. In Germany, the program is organized by dedicated volunteers of the registered non-profit association “Odyssey of the Mind Deutschland e.V.”.
